God has proven that He can turn the smallest idea into big results!

It all started with a meme...

Founding member Jody Coward tells the story that after having a stroke, one of the ways that he would minister to friends would be to send inspirational picture text messages. One day, a friend suggested that Jody start a podcast to share more about his text messages. One connection led to another that led to the "Jody Coward's Twisted Perspective" podcast which is now in its second season.

Through the podcast, Jody connected with a former acquaintance who suggested that Jody take his show on the road and have a worship service in Abilene, Texas where he formerly lived. Partnering with Aaron Michaels and the Robert Diaz Band from Houston, TX, Fire and Hope held their first worship service on October 21, 2023, at Rose Park in Abilene, TX.
